Coral walls, sapphire water or sunken shipwrecks may tempt you to descend a bit more, or maybe, the depth lures you simply because it is there. It is rare that a diver has not felt the urge to dive deep. With that urge for greater depths may come more potential hazards. Some of these deep diving hazards are not obvious; the untrained and unaware diver may not recognize them.
How would you like to extend the life of your equipment by 3 to 5 years? In this specialty course, you will learn the general principles of operation on regulators, depth gauges, power inflators, dump valves and tank valves. Learn how to do quick repairs on the dive site. You will have a hands on training in the care & maintenance on regulators, gauges, tanks, BCD’s, wet suits, knifes, etc. We will show you how to efficiently put together a spare parts kit. There will be demonstrations on how to properly transport and store all of your scuba equipment. We will be visually inspecting tanks (internally and externally). So gather up your equipment and bring it in. If you don’t have your own equipment, don’t worry, we will provide you with equipment to use. If you have your own equipment or are looking to buy your equipment, then this specialty is the one to sign up for.

The PADI Deep Diver specialty course teaches you the techniques that make recreational deep diving safe and fun.
During the course, you will familiarize yourself with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving between the depths of 60 feet to 130 feet. The Deep Diver Specialty course consists of four open water dives and is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to deeper diving within the limits of recreational scuba diving.
