In 2000 we saw the rebreather industry grow out of infancy to a viable need for divers that were involved in exploration projects. Since then we watched rebreathers evolve and diversify from technical divers to sport divers. It was then we decided to get involved. During the years that lead up to this we had  opportunities to try many different types. We found that Innerspace Systems had just what we were looking for. The Megalodon eCCR is manufactured in the good old USA and unlike other CCR’s you can get parts and support quickly. The Meg is a modular unit with many options. This makes it easy to travel with and to configure to different types of diving. If you are interested in CCR’s don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. Each year we allow interested divers to try the Meg. , don’t miss our Discover Rebreathers seminar. Call for Meg. Spec sheet, options, pricing, and training schedule.

Most inventions come to fruition out of necessity. As did our Explorer Cylinder Mounting System©. After having a hose clamp break during a dive and the tanks, and gas plenum canister shifted. You really don’t want this to happen at 300’. We knew we had to rethink how the cylinders and canister were attached to the back plate. We started with our own STA made out of a solid piece of 316 ss ( 6# ) as a frame. We then welded two 316 stainless steel tank bands that bolt to the canister. We also welded a stainless steel G-Snap (QD tank mounts)  to each side with a slightly inward camber. We tested different configurations by shifting the bands up and down until we had a perfect balance. Any size cylinders can be used. If you want piece of mind this bullet proof mounting system should be your next purchase.

Rebreather courses are unit specific. We offer training for the Megalodon rebreather through IANTD. We also offer normoxic trimix courses for this CCR.  The student must own or have use of a Meg for the class. The course includes lectures, confined water session, and 8 open water dives with run times in excess of 500 min.  Once you dive closed circuit you’ll never want to blow bubbles again! Call us for any questions you may have regarding training.
