NITROX DIVER will provide the recreational diver with a safer breathing media for enjoying dives from 50’ to 130’ depth range. While reducing the narcotic effect of nitrogen, nitrox can be used to increase safety margins and increase your bottom times. Nitrox is also useful in reducing post dive fatigue. The Nitrox Course is adaptable to being combined with Deep Air. Course Content: Oxygen Toxicity, Dive Planning, Gas Analysis, Use of Tables, EAD Methods, Calculating MOD, Use of Nitrox Computers, Color Coding & Labeling Equipment, Requirements for O2 Cleaning.

DEEP DIVER & ADVANCED NITROX DIVER. We have combined these  two courses  to provide a more comprehensive deep diver program. More disciplined than recreational deep diver courses, this training will sharpen your skills and allow safer diving up to 130 ft. An in depth understanding of EANx will allow mixtures of up to 50% Nitrox to be used for safety or required deco stops. The overview: Decompression theory, gas management, and the affects of narcosis. Physics & physiology of the course will include detailed tracking of O2   CNS% and an introduction to the OTU  concept of pulmonary oxygen exposures. Introduction to Nitrox Computers. Equipment: Configuration, use of dual outlet valves, stage bottle, and lift bag/reel combinations. This course is a prerequisite for the Technical / Normoxic Trimix Diver Course and Rebreather Course.

EANx or TRIMIX GAS BLENDER (IANTD) - The content of these two courses are mandatory for individuals or dive facilities that will be mixing gas for consumption. The focus of these courses consists of gas computability, theory and physics of Nitrox and or Trimix mixing, oxygen handling, gas mixing methods, hands on preparation, analyzing, labeling, record keeping and computer software.
